ALSASUA: Carnaval Rural. El martes de carnaval es el dia de los Momotxorros, personajes temibles , vestidos de animales, con grandes cuernos y embadurnados de sangre. Bailan varias veces y en diferentes lugares la famosa Momotxorroen Dantza y celebran un akelarre junto a una gran hoguera. Corren de forma desaforada por las calles del pueblo gritando y amenazando con sus horcas y atemorizando al publico presente. Música, ruido, fuego y sangre se apoderan de las calles de Alsasua durante unas dos horas. El espectáculo resulta sobrecogedor..
ALSASUA: Rural Carnival. Shrove Tuesday is the day of the Momotxorros, fearsome characters, dressed as animals, with large horns and smeared with blood. They dance the famous Momotxorroen Dantza several times and in different places and celebrate a coven next to a large bonfire. They run wildly through the streets of the town shouting and threatening with their pitchforks and frightening the public present. Music, noise, fire and blood take over the streets of Alsasua for about two hours. The moment is overwhelming.
